The Seagull

Speaking of theater ... I saw The Seagull a few days ago, and frankly I don't see what the big raves are about.  It's a great play of course, and Kristin Scott Thomas is pretty terrific, but Peter Sarsgaard is WAY off.  I love him as an actor in general, but he's just ... odd as Trigorin.  I do think the production is worth seeing if you can get really cheap tickets or you're a billionaire and don't mind throwing around money, but I definitely wouldn't recommend paying anything near full price for it.
